Morning Study:
Text: Psalm 42
Questions:
(First, take a little longer this morning. You don’t have to rush off to school. Spend some time really digesting this Psalm!)
- Read this Psalm out loud at least three times.
- What word or phrase really jumps out at you?
- How does that word or phrase apply to your life right now? What are you going through that would cause that phrase to stand out?
- What is god trying to say to you through this Psalm?
Prayer Focus: Spend time this Saturday praying for the leaders of our nation. Ask God to give wisdom and guidance as they seek to lead us.
Evening Study:
Evening: Titus 3:1-15
Questions:
- What commands does Paul have for everyone in verses 1 and 2?
- Why did God save us?
- How did God save us?
- Why does Paul want Titus to stress these truths?
- What does Paul warn against in verses 9 and 10?
- Which kind of person are you - the ones described in verse 8, or warned against in verse 9?
Prayer focus: Pray this evening for our state and local leaders, people like our governor, our local representatives, our town council and school board.

In Psalm 42, “all your waves and breakers have swept over me” was the phrase that caught my attention. It reminds me that God has completely swept me clean and I need to continuously immerse myself in His love.
–This site was a really good idea. It helps me get into God’s word every day.
