Morning and Evening: Friday, February 27

How are you doing with your Lenten fast? Have you given something up to help prepare you for Easter? More importantly, as you hunger for that thing, are you turning your focus onto God and allowing your hunger to call you to prayer?
Morning Study:
Text: Psalm 31:1-5
Questions:
- From what things in your life right now do you need sheltered?
- What areas of your life do you need God’s guidance right now?
- From what do you need God to set you free?
- Why do we have to make the commitment described in verse 5 before God can shelter, guide and free us?
- Have you made that commitment?
Prayer Focus: Spend time today praying for your family. Pray for your parents, your siblings, your extended family. Pray especially that God would draw you closer together and help you support each other the way you ought.
Evening Study:
Evening: Titus 2:1-15
Questions:
- What lessons does Paul say you need to be taught according to this passage?
- What does God’s grace teach everyone according to verses 11-12? How are you learning those lessons?
- Why does Paul say that Jesus died?
- Verse 15 says that we shouldn’t let anyone despise us. How do we have any control over what others think of us?
Prayer focus: Spend some time praying for the families that make up our congregation. Ask God to bring all the families in our church closer together.
